M.IOM
In April 2022, the simulation model of the International Organization for Migration (M.IOM) launched its activities under the supervision of the Migration Research Unit (MRU)
The Theme for The first season of the model was chosen upon the agreement of all of its participants to tackle the main basis relationship between climate change and migration in Egypt. The main reason behind the theme’s choice is that we want to cope with the current preferences and goals of COP27.
There were a bunch of workshops, academic sessions, informative presentations, and meetings with the top high authorities on migration issues in Egypt.
