3rd IOM Model

The MRU started the interview process on December 2023 as preparation for the launch of the third round of the IOM simulation model on “Migration and Sustainable Development goals”. This round of the model aims to encourage students to innovate and formulate creative solutions related to circular migration management and sustainable development. It involves understanding the role of the International Organization for Migration and international organizations concerned with migration and sustainable development. Students will learn how to deal with emergency situations related to migration during crises. The program includes recognizing tools for achieving sustainable development by effectively integrating migration into policies and development programs. It also aims to enhance students' technical and specialized skills related to migration management and sustainable development

The purpose of establishing a unit for migration studies to provide an opportunity to study the economic and social dimensions in cooperation with the various departments inside and outside the college to study the motives and effects of migration, whether legal or illegal, which opens the horizon for joint research.
